Arlington
SOLD
Arlington is a 16.3 hand chestnut Trakehner stallion.
Born in 1988, he passed his 100 day testing in Neumuenster, Germany. He has
been trained to Intermediate I and has competed internationally at this level
in Europe, consistently scoring in the mid to upper 60’s. Prior to his
dressage career, Arlington had many placings in show jumping competitions
in Europe. Arlington is the son of Ravel, a Grand Prix dressage stallion with
many wins to his credit. His grandsire is Mahogani, who sired Peron, the highest
placed American dressage horse at the 1996 Olympics. His sire’s pedigree
also includes the foundation stallions Donauwind and Pregel, both descendents
of the great jumping stallion Abdullah. He is approved by the American and
German Trakehner Verbands.
Arlington is a master of the pirouette and can give any rider a real feel
for collection. Still sound and showable, he recently took his amateur rider
through her first third level test. A perfect gentleman, he won both classes
with scores of 64%. He also produces lovely babies with his gentle temperament.
His son Tropical Reign is currently doing very well on the southern California
breed show circuit. He is very fertile, easy to handle in the breeding shed,
and would be a great addition to any Trakehner breeding program. Plus, he
can still teach you upper level movements and take you down the centerline
with style!
