Veloz
da Quintana
Veloz is a 16.1 hand Lusitano stallion, born Nov.
11, 2001. He is approved for breeding by the PSL. At the 2009 IALHA Championship
Show, he won the Best Lusitano Stallion in Show award, as well as national
championships in Mature Lusitano Stallions in Hand, Musical Freestyle Dressage,
and Reserve Champion in Open Third Level Dressage. Veloz made his debut at
fourth level this spring, scoring 65.8% and finishing second in a class of
14 warmbloods. He has three very good gaits and is very safe and comfortable
to ride. He is schooling everything from Prix St. Georges and has an excellent
start on piaffe. Veloz has an extraordinary temperament: he rides like a gelding
with the presence of a stallion. He loves people and adores being cuddled.
Veloz is a special, one of a kind horse for the rider who wants the very best.
