Katy Barglow
Katy is a Ph.D candidate in biochemistry at UCSD. After selling her Grand Prix horse Le Mans last year, Katy started over again with the 5 year old Dutch gelding Uniek. Donna picked out the tall black gelding at the Elite Auction Sale in the Netherlands and Katy bought him sight unseen. Uni has been a handful at times but never fails to draw attention in the show ring with his beautiful gaits and his presence. At his first show at the Del Mar National, he won several classes and scored as high as 74%. He won again at Flintridge Dressage. Katy achieved her aim with him this year when she won the Amateur Futurity at the CDS Championship show. Katy also showed Donna's small tour horse Domino to wins and high point awards at the Prix St. Georges level.
