Valerie Cheatham
Valerie is a registered nurse who rides the five year old Dutch mare Uila by Isselmjeer. Val has had Uila since she was two years old and, with Donna's "eyes on the ground", has done all the riding by herself. She and Uila showed successfully this year on the San Diego circuit where they won several high point awards at training level. A severe bout of colic put Uila's training back a few months, but she is working well again now. Val plans to move her up to first level and can still aim for the 2007 CDS Amateur Futurity.
